The Old Bell bar is a great place to socialise during the day and night. With a mix of local residents, hotel guests and tourists staying locally there is a vibrant atmosphere.
With regulars rubbing shoulders with visitors, the bar has a vibrant ‘yet peaceful’ atmosphere with animated conversation and live entertainment with plenty of comfortable seating.
The bar offers a great selection of local beers including Old Speckled Hen and IPA alongside Premium Lagers and Ciders. We are also known for our great selection of whiskies and spirits including over 20 gins for you to sample with your choice of mixer!
During the winter months our large open fire is lit daily providing a wonderful atmosphere in which to enjoy drinks and food and during the summer our courtyard offers a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere in which to enjoy a cold drink or al fresco dining.
On sunny days many guests decide to enjoy their drinks in Courtyard, whist during the winter months you can snuggle up in front of our roaring log fire.
As well has having great selection of drinks we also pride ourselves on our delicious pub menu – featuring all your favourite traditional pub meals, through to our Team’s seasonal specials – there is something to suit all tastes and appetites including light snacks.
Our four-legged friends are welcome in our bar area and garden but not permitted to enter the restaurant.
